Hugo Romero, a 26-year-old resident of Bellflower, California, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2016, after being shot in Hawaiian Gardens. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Romero was visiting friends in his former neighborhood around midnight when the incident occurred. As he and his friends stood in the street talking, a dark-colored sedan approached, and someone inside the vehicle began firing.
