Dermelle Davenport, a 51-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2016. Davenport was fatally shot at an Arco gas station in the Hyde Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's records, the incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. when officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call.
