Dianey Santos, a 39-year-old Latina, tragically lost her life on June 20, 2016, three days after being shot near South Broadway and West 83rd Street in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles. On the evening of June 17, Santos was waiting for a bus when two men ran past her. One of the men turned and fired shots at the other, with one of the bullets striking Santos in the head.
