Grady Lee Wilcots, a 53-year-old man from Compton, California, was tragically killed on June 27, 2016. Wilcots was working with a construction crew repaving South Central Avenue when he was shot multiple times by a young Latino man who ran up to him and opened fire. The incident occurred at the corner of South Central Avenue and East 148th Street in West Compton.
