Marcus Jarrod Wilkerson, a 46-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on July 29, 2016. The incident occurred near West Gage and South Western avenues in the Harvard Park neighborhood. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Wilkerson was found lying on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his stomach around 6 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe the shooting took place approximately an hour before he was discovered.
