Ernesto Cervantes, a 19-year-old resident of East Los Angeles, was tragically shot and killed on July 31, 2016. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:28 a.m., on the 200 block of North Alma Avenue. Cervantes was walking south on the residential street when he passed a house where a party was taking place.
