Dalby Perez, a 24-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on August 11, 2016, at Alvarado Terrace Park near West 14th and South Bonnie Brae streets in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. Perez and another man were spending time at the park when a white sedan approached them.
