William Clay Settle, a 22-year-old man from Lancaster, California, was tragically shot and killed on August 13, 2016. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:30 a.m., in the 1700 block of East Avenue J-4. Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about gunshots in the area and found Settle lying on a walkway outside an apartment complex.
