Jorge Luis Garcia, a 24-year-old Latino, was tragically shot to death on September 24, 2016, in Pomona, California. The incident occurred around midnight in the 2400 block of South Garey Avenue. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Pomona police received a call about shots fired in the area.
