Alejandro Valle, a 19-year-old resident of San Francisco, was tragically shot and killed in the Bayview District on September 24, 2016. The incident occurred early in the morning when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at Oakdale Avenue and Newhall Street. Upon arrival, they found Valle suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. Despite being transported to San Francisco General Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
