Juan Manuel Vidal, a 25-year-old resident of El Monte, California, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2016, during a botched robbery at the Jack in the Box restaurant where he worked. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the restaurant located on Flair Drive. Vidal was working his shift when an armed assailant, later identified as Louie Herrera, entered the establishment wearing a Halloween mask.
