Ignacio Mendoza Calmo, a 32-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on December 18, 2016. The shooter managed to escape the scene, and as of the latest updates, no suspects have been identified or arrested. The Oakland Police Department has not released any information regarding a possible motive for the shooting.
