Mitchell Smith, a 35-year-old resident of San Francisco, was tragically killed on January 1, 2017. On that fateful day, officers from the San Francisco Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the Bayview neighborhood. Upon arrival, they found Smith suffering from a gunshot wound to the face on the 1400 block of Mendell Street. Despite being rushed to San Francisco General Hospital, Smith succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.
