Jacob Vincent Juarez, a 21-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 7, 2017, in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the 2600 block of West Slauson Avenue. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the shooting happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. Witnesses in the area reported hearing an argument followed by gunshots.
