On January 10, 2017, Susan Garcia, a 33-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident at her home. The incident occurred during a gathering that included her husband, Victor Garcia, and their 2-year-old son. The shooter, John Kevin McVoy Jr., was a bandmate of Victor Garcia and had come to the house to discuss band-related matters. The situation escalated during a political discussion, leading to a fatal confrontation.
