Carlos Jimenez, a 38-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 26, 2017, in Artesia, California. According to reports, Jimenez had just returned home from work shortly after midnight and was outside the boarding house where he lived, sharing a beer with a friend. Residents in the area reported hearing the sound of a car driving by, followed by gunfire. Unfortunately, neither Jimenez nor his friend saw the vehicle.
