Javier Zuniga, a 46-year-old resident of Turlock, California, was found dead on February 9, 2017, at the Venice Motel located on North Golden State Boulevard. The Turlock Police Department responded to a call about an unresponsive man around 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Zuniga had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Despite immediate efforts to gather information, the police did not have any suspect details at the time.
