Jonathan Valentin Valdovinos, a 23-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on February 25, 2017, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. while Valdovinos was walking northbound on Murchison Street, approaching Lancaster Avenue.
