Francisco Gomez, a 41-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on April 1, 2017, in Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the 5100 block of Venice Boulevard in the Mid-City area. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, police responded to a call about a shooting inside a home around 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Gomez with gunshot wounds. He was immediately taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:50 a.m.
