Francisco Fuentes, a 27-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on June 21, 2017, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant located in the 7900 block of Van Nuys Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Fuentes was found on the ground next to a bicycle, having sustained gunshot wounds.
