Yoshimi Shanmei Cheng, a 73-year-old resident of San Gabriel, California, tragically lost her life on June 24, 2017. The incident occurred in the apartment she shared with her son, Raymond Cheng, and his wife. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Yoshimi was shot and killed by her son, Raymond, who then turned the gun on himself in what authorities have classified as a murder-suicide.
