Death by Force

Martha Alfaro, a 76-year-old woman, was fatally shot in San Francisco's Corona Heights neighborhood late on the night of July 30, 2017. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 11:45 p.m. and discovered Alfaro suffering from a gunshot wound near 15th and Beaver streets. She was quickly transported to a hospital, but despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
