Hector Xavier Chavez Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Visalia, California, tragically lost his life on August 20, 2017. The incident occurred during a house party in a quiet northeast Visalia neighborhood. Witnesses reported that the party was winding down when an unknown assailant opened fire, striking Chavez. He was found by officers suffering from a gunshot wound and was immediately rushed to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
