Tafari Erroll Pipersburg, a 37-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on September 19, 2017. Pipersburg was riding his bicycle east on West 120th Street near 12010 S. Vermont Ave. in the Harbor Gateway area when he was struck by a stray bullet. The incident occurred around 7:55 p.m. when a nearby individual was shooting at a propane tank. One of the bullets missed its intended target and hit Pipersburg, resulting in his untimely death.
