Victor Manuel Cortez Jr., a 21-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2019, in Montecito Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Victor was fatally shot in an incident that also left two other young men injured.
