Silverio Tapia, a 26-year-old resident of Orange Cove, California, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2018. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM when the Orange Cove Police Department responded to a call about an injured man on the 800 block of Celaya Street. Upon arrival, officers found Tapia with a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of fire personnel who arrived shortly after, Tapia was pronounced dead at the scene.
