Sabrina and her father, Leonard Lew, 84, went to their rental property to discuss a pending eviction with their tenant, Victor Aurelino Lugo, 71. The situation escalated when Lugo, facing eviction, opened fire on the Lews. The incident occurred around 3:44 p.m., and a 911 call was made by a resident reporting the shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found both Sabrina and Leonard suffering from gunshot wounds. Sabrina was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries, while Leonard survived after receiving treatment in the ICU.
The investigation revealed that Lugo, the tenant, had a history of disputes with the Lews. On the day of the incident, the confrontation over the eviction led Lugo to shoot both Sabrina and Leonard before turning the gun on himself.
