Jaime Melgoza Herrera, a 27-year-old resident of Delano, California, tragically lost his life on June 8, 2018. On that fateful morning, Herrera was shot at approximately 5:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of Clinton Street in Delano. Despite being rushed to Delano Regional Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The Kern County Sheriff's coroner's office conducted an autopsy to confirm the cause of death, which was determined to be from gunshot wounds.
