Derick Alexander, an 18-year-old from Oakland, California, was tragically shot and killed on June 27, 2018. The incident occurred outside Mike’s Mini Mart in the 8900 block of MacArthur Boulevard in East Oakland. Alexander was among a group of people playing dice when the shooting took place.
