On July 2, 2018, Calixto Ramirez, aged 51, was found dead in a maroon Chevrolet pickup truck on the Ridgewood Grade near Willits, California. The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office, along with California Highway Patrol officers and local firefighters, responded to a report of a vehicle blocking traffic.
