Shawn Fowler, a 44-year-old resident of Tooele, Utah, tragically lost his life on July 6, 2018, in San Bernardino, California. Fowler was traveling on the Interstate 210 freeway with his wife and other motorcyclists when they encountered mechanical issues with one of the bikes. As Fowler and another rider pulled over to the side of the freeway to address the problem, shots were fired at them. The incident occurred around 4 a.m., and Fowler was pronounced dead at the scene.
