Damian Lawrence Meins, aged 58, tragically lost his life on December 2, 2015, in San Bernardino, California. Meins was one of the victims of the mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center, where 14 people were killed and 22 others were injured. This horrific event occurred during a holiday party for the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, where Meins had recently started working.
