Jerry Alexander Ramos, a 25-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on October 7, 2018, in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred in the 1200 block of South Crenshaw Boulevard. Ramos had just finished his work shift and was standing alone outside when he was approached by an individual wearing dark clothing. The assailant shot Ramos and then fled north on foot.
Ramos was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:27 p.m.
