Rene Emilio Gonzalez, a 17-year-old from West Covina, California, tragically lost his life on November 10, 2018. Rene was shot in the early hours of the morning at Shadow Oak Park, located at 2121 Shadow Oak Drive. The incident occurred around 12:50 a.m., and it also resulted in injuries to two other individuals, a man and a woman, whose injuries were not life-threatening. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed that Rene died from multiple gunshot wounds.
