Brad Maurice Brown, a 41-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2018. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records, Brown was involved in a heated argument with another man inside a parked vehicle in a driveway. During the altercation, the other man, identified as Charis Dejuan Sheppard, pulled out a gun and shot Brown. The gunshot proved fatal, and Brown was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:14 a.m.
The investigation into Brown's death led to the identification and subsequent arrest of Charis Dejuan Sheppard, a 42-year-old man. Sheppard was charged with one count of murder, with the additional allegation that he discharged a handgun during the commission of the crime.
