Jwan Rivas-Rivas, a 33-year-old resident of Richmond, California, was found dead on January 20, 2019. His body was discovered in a car that had crashed into a fence in the 600 block of Ohio Avenue around 1 a.m. Rivas-Rivas had been shot, and his death was one of several homicides that occurred in Richmond within a short period. The incident was part of a violent weekend in the city, which saw multiple shootings and fatalities.
