Miguel Ernesto Guardado Jr., a 42-year-old man, was found dead on March 11, 2019, in Malibu, California. His body was discovered on the beach in the 25600 block of Pacific Coast Highway. Initially, authorities did not suspect foul play, but an autopsy later revealed that Guardado had been shot in the upper torso, leading to his death being classified as a homicide. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department launched a homicide investigation following this discovery.
