Cesar Ascencio, a 42-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on May 23, 2019, after being shot in West Hills, California. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Ascencio was shot at Shadow Ranch Park. The incident occurred during a confrontation that escalated into violence. Ascencio was rushed to a hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The shooting also claimed the life of a 27-year-old man who was declared dead at the scene.
