Rafael Cervantes, a 20-year-old resident of Antioch, California, tragically lost his life on July 2, 2019, in a fatal shooting incident in East Oakland. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of 87th Avenue. Cervantes, along with Jose Wilson, 29, who lived near the scene, and another 23-year-old man from Antioch, were shot by an unknown assailant who approached them on the street.
