Richard Abelino Benavidez Ponce, a 20-year-old resident of Dos Palos, California, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2019. The incident occurred in the Yerba Buena neighborhood of San Francisco, where Ponce was fatally shot in the area of Bonifacio Street and Mabini Street. Responding officers found him lying on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of medics, Ponce succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
