Joel David Vargas, a 19-year-old resident of Stockton, California, tragically lost his life on July 20, 2019. Joel was attending a party in Stockton when he was shot. Despite being rushed to San Joaquin General Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries early the next morning. Joel was remembered as a hard-working young man who had recently graduated from Cesar Chavez High School and was employed as a machine operator at O-G Packing.
