Lathurman Williams, a 39-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on November 1, 2019. The incident occurred near St. Andrew’s Place and West 84th Street in the Manchester Square neighborhood. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records, Williams was sitting in a black Buick with another individual when two assailants approached them. One of the attackers asked Williams, "Where you from?" before opening fire multiple times.
The other person in the vehicle managed to drive away to call 911, but the assailants fled the scene. Williams was pronounced dead at 10:08 p.m. at the scene.
Williams, known affectionately as BoBo, was a father of four. His death left a significant impact on his family and community. Despite the efforts of the Los Angeles Police Department, the case remains unsolved. Detectives have urged anyone with information to come forward, offering anonymity through Crime Stoppers. The investigation has not led to any arrests or identified suspects, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
