James Lee Chambers, a 55-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on November 9, 2019. The incident occurred around midnight in the 1700 block of West 24th Street in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Chambers was standing in the area when an unknown assailant shot him from behind a tree.
