On January 13, 2020, Garland Scott, a 21-year-old resident of Hayward, California, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The Hayward Police Department received a report of gunshots in the 22000 block of Alice Street around 12:30 AM. Upon arrival, officers found Scott suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by medical staff. The Alameda County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity shortly after the incident.
