Deccra Lloyd Haskell was fatally shot on October 3, 2022, in Hayward, California, near the Cal State East Bay campus. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 6 a.m., when Haskell and a woman, who was his cousin and the ex-girlfriend of the suspect, Zechariah Fisher, arrived at Fisher's apartment complex on Carlos Bee Boulevard.
