Francisco Cruz, a 32-year-old resident of Oceanside, California, tragically lost his life on March 26, 2020, in a fatal shooting incident in Vista. His body was discovered by a security guard in a parking lot on South Santa Fe Avenue shortly after 9:30 p.m. that evening. An autopsy revealed that Cruz had died from multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation into his death quickly led authorities to identify Calvin Lamar Ackles, a 40-year-old parolee, as the prime suspect. Ackles was arrested in S ...
