Justin Esco, a 25-year-old resident of Vallejo, California, was fatally shot on April 17, 2020, in East Oakland. The incident occurred around 10:37 p.m. on the 9700 block of Golf Links Road, near Knowland Park. Esco was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, a 21-year-old from Contra Costa County, was also injured in the shooting but survived.
