Kendrick Donte Riley, a 25-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on May 9, 2020. Riley was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Americas Best Value Inn, located in the Eastlake district of Oakland. The incident occurred around 12:03 a.m. as Riley was getting into his car. He had registered at the hotel the day before. Despite the efforts of first responders, Riley succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
