Ari Gershman, a 45-year-old pulmonary doctor from Danville, California, tragically lost his life on July 3, 2020, in a shooting incident near Downieville, CA. Gershman was off-roading in the Tahoe National Forest with his teenage son, Jack, when they encountered John T. Conway, a 40-year-old fugitive from Oroville.
