Jaquon Pittman, age 19, was tragically shot and killed on July 10, 2012, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was shot multiple times while standing in the backyard of a home in the 2400 block of Arts Street, just a day before he was due to leave for basic training in the U.S. Air Force. The attack occurred at around 1:45 p.m., and Pittman died at the scene.
